Dark Beauty heather needs well-draining soil and full sun. In hot conditions or climate some afternoon shade can be good. It is a low grower and only reaches around 10 inches in height. An excellent choice for ground cover, borders, container growing, banks and beds. Deer resistant and hardy to -15°F when protected from windchill.
