This is based loosely on Univox stuff from the 60s, so it's got a cool and interesting sound. The controls are simple: gain and volume, but there's a lot of scope in there. The gain goes down to fairly clean, so it can be a hairy harmonically rich boost. Or, max the gain and it has a certain white-noise snarly tone, it's pretty hectic and very fun. "You don't hate jazz... you fear jazz".
