The leaves lie flat during the day and fold upward at night as if in prayer. Prayer plants are relatively low-maintenance. They spread low and wide; they can be grown in hanging baskets or larger containers.

How often should I water Maranta Fantasy?
The soil should never be allowed to dry out completely. Not enough water and overwatering can cause the leaves to turn yellow and drop from the plant if the leaves begin to turn yellow; water the plant less often if the soil is still wet or more often if the soil appears dry between waterings.
Increase the humidity in the room with a humidifier, mist regularly or set a pan or dish filled with pebbles and water below the plant to increase the room’s humidity; brown tips will show the humidity is too low.

Maranta are not toxic to cats and dogs if nibbled.
