Made of a stunning combination of red on pink and deep hued greens on silk, this Suzy Perette dress is a beauty! The front is is simple with a curved and plunged neckline that is mirrored in the back except the back plunge goes quite deep. The waist nips in with flat seaming that gives the illusion of overlapping and being caught up with that wonderful fabric covered, large button at the front. A soft pleat has been worked into each hip and these gently open to give the volume the skirt has. This seaming and use of pleats and flat panels cleverly draws the eye into the waist and gives the illusion of an even greater nipped in waist and hourglass silhouette. I love the rounded shoulders and just below the elbow length sleeves. The skirt has the perfect amount of fullness that allows you wear it with or without a light crinoline (shown without) and not be too overwhelmed by volume. Amazing fabric and in excellent condition.

Fully lined in a black silky rayon and closes with a back painted metal zipper.
