The Arcadia Girl Liberty Hand-Smocked Dress embodies the timeless elegance of artisanal craftsmanship, featuring a beautiful hand-smocked bodice which is completed by hand and can take up to seven hours per dress, creating both texture and gentle stretch for comfortable wear. Rendered in a delicate Liberty print of coral pink, soft blue and sage green florals, each motif is a miniature work of art. Liberty Fabrics’ designs are drawn or painted by hand in their iconic London studio, drawing inspiration from an archive of over 50,000 historic prints. The result is intricate, inky washes that evoke the beauty of wildflowers in bloom. Printed on the finest cotton, the fabric has a silk-like touch and vibrant colour clarity, enhancing the heritage-inspired elegance of La Coqueta’s signature silhouettes. The round neckline and gently puffed cap sleeves frame the intricate smocking beautifully, while the fitted bodice flows into a full A-line skirt that swishes with every move. It is finished with a mother of pearl button placket to fasten at the back, and a self-tie bow to adjust for the perfect fit.
