A lovely vintage cocktail dress in winter white adorned with sparkling gold & silver metallic thread flowers - matching tie with loops - fully lined - back metal zipper - vintage pinked seams in taffeta lining - metal zipper

Designer: no tag
Size: tag says vintage size 14 but it is not a size 14 as sizing has changed over the years so please go by the measurements
Bust: 40 - 41 stretched
Waist: 28-1/2
Hip: 37 - 37 stretched a bit but leave room for movement
Length: 40 fabric: no tag but a lightweight wool
Care: no tag but dry clean
Condition: very good - a couple of tiny spots of soiling one on the bottom of the hem & a couple on inside hem where no one could see it - a few broken or loose metallic threads which you could just clip off or tack down

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.

I love this brand & expected more, especially for the price. the gloves are super bulky and uncomfortable. they’re hard to get on and off and have a strange feeling when on because of the gel lining. they also smell odd. i wore them so about a week with several different creams/balms/lotions etc. i woke up with them off multiple times which makes me know that i was uncomfortable in them during my sleep. they also caused a weird breakout on my hands up to my wrists that took over a week to go away with the help of cortisone. it was like hives but more rash like. i didn’t bother attempting to return them and decided to throw them out. waste of money, time & ended up with a rash at the end. they did make my hands softer and helped with my cracked skin but at what cost?

So my experience is that they are very difficult to get on and once they're on they really bugged me after awhile I need to get them off, but they're very difficult to get off without turning the gloves inside out. ...then you have to try get them turned back to right side out... in the end I tried them and then thought I would try them one more time but they were such a pain in the rear that I ended up tossing them in the trash because I waited too long to be able to return them. One of my saddest purchases from Amazon!

My hands were so dry and cracked until I got these babies. I didn't realize what I was getting myself into and was surprised when they were lined with some kind of silicone. Really moisturizes hands
These gloves really work. My cuticles and hands alway seem dry. I used these gloves the first night I received them and my hands were really smooth afterward. When I get in bed at night, I play on my computer and iPad, and these gloves are perfect. The end of the index finger is designed to be used with a phone, computer, and iPad. Make sure you push the end of the fingers on the gloves all the way down to the end of your fingertips; otherwise you will not be able to use them with a device. I find they work better with my iPad than my computer. I have not tried to use with my phone.
