You do not need to apply heavy pressure to the wound like other hemostatic agents, pack the wound with WoundClot gauze and cover with hand pressure or a compression bandage. It will turn into gelatin in about 30 seconds, which then absorbs heavy amounts of liquid and gives your body the perfect environment for clotting to occur roughly 1 minute after initial application.
