This kaftan is hand block printed on 100% cotton using the ancient dabu method of resist printing with mud, a slow fashion technique that is as sustainable as it is artistic. Artisans coat the fabric with mud paste, sprinkle it with sawdust, and then dye it, repeating this process to create intricate patterns with extraordinary depth. Each print is made entirely by hand, without excessive water, without electricity, and without waste.
