Made in the 90s, this Richard Tyler Couture gown is a truly one-of-a-kind marvel, custom made for one of the designer's clients. Through the 90s, Richard Tyler was known for his womenswear line, focusing on couture-quality eveningwear. Some of Carrie Bradshaw's most iconic looks on Sex and the City were by Richard Tyler. Diane Keaton probably said it best: “He cuts a suit and literally transforms your body.” The bodice of this dress is certainly transformative— it features an incredibly unique halter portrait collar. The boning in the bodice creates a corset effect, and I am absolutely obsessed with the way it's shaped at the chest. There are hidden padded cups sewn in, serving as a balconette to really lift your chest— think of the corsets and empire-waist silhouettes worn on Bridgerton/in the Regency era— SO flattering! The portrait neckline is a force in and of itself, with hidden horsehair sustaining its exaggerated shape; along with the structured fabric, it holds its shape whether worn totally off the shoulder or a bit higher— a variety of positions are possible! The dress's skirt has a slit up the back, with a panel underneath, which creates an A-line shape. The panel peeks out just slightly longer than the hem, creating this really elegant peacock train shape.  No fabric label is present, as it was custom made, but it is 100% silk.

Measurements: This will best fit a size Medium but please refer to below measurements and notes to be sure. Shown pinned on a size X-Small to simulate proper fit.

Chest: Sizing at chest is flexible, due to the open back. Keep in mind the boned corset interior is designed to hold you in. Laid flat, the front chest measures 15.75" (this measurement is NOT doubled)

Waist: up to 31" (see below)

Hips: up to 39"

Length: 52.75" down center front to front hem; back panel is about 2.25" longer

NOTE: I believe panels (which are not original to the dress) were added at a later point to the bodice to make it larger. You have an option to remove the panels (which would be a VERY clean alteration) and would take the waist in about 1.5"  and bring the dress back to it's original form.

Short and sweet
Format: Kindle
Beautifully written, I was worried when it was labelled as a novella at the start, really used to those missing info and jumping forward to complete the story or not having complete character growth, not to worry! Author gave enough time to fall in love (and hate) with everyone, can't wait to read Wendy's story I feel like she will be the badass we all love!

Likeable characters, but only 75% complete story
Format: Kindle
I really liked the characters introduced, but the author didn’t fully conceptualize everything. We know Lila works long hours, but despite being a college graduate we never learn anything about what she does, where she works, how much she gets paid, etc. For an omega who seemed to be able to support herself, that seemed an unusual oversight. We learn absolutely nothing about what she wants in life, either. Is she just surviving the post-college life struggle or working up to her dream job? Fiona the flamingo had more detail than some of the main characters, but she was 10/10 as good as Wendy for a side character. — spoilers ahead —- Separately, some of the plot details were contradictory, or just missing. On one page Lila and Larry were together for 18 months, on another it was 4 years. When did she even move in with him? What did she do while he was gaming? How long were she and Wendy friends for Lila to trust her like that but not know much about her? And why didn’t Lila’s alphas sue Larry to reduce Lila’s debt? Shopping seemed a weird choice pamper her without knowing more about Lila’s debt and plans to reduce it. And her alphas never even ask anything about her job, but she’s The One. Such a frustrating relationship plot hole. We never even learn anything about the alphas’ families or what they want in life either. I wish the author had written about 30 more pages fleshing out the details and showing how the alphas were just as in love with Lila’s personality as they were with her scent and body. Loved the concept, but I still feel like I read 3/4 of a book.

It's mid
Format: Kindle
There's a cute story there. The guys are sweet, but... I don't know. It's very vanilla. Not just the mediocre spicy scenes, but the whole story. It's just ok.

Short, cute, straight to the point
Format: Kindle
This is the type of fast pace stories I love to read. I felt nothing felt incomplete. Everything went together. Loved the men loved the best friend and the Fmc. Definitely would recommend this book.

Fun, Steamy, and Just Enough Depth
Format: Kindle
I liked this book — it was cute, short, and exactly what I expected from a quick Omegaverse read. While it doesn’t dive too deeply into character development, there was enough personality and backstory sprinkled in to keep the relationships believable and engaging, especially given the length. What I really appreciated was that the focus stayed on the main characters and their connection. The heat, the banter, and the romance were front and center without getting bogged down in unnecessary drama. It made for an easy, enjoyable read that flowed smoothly from start to finish. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a teaser blurb at the end, but it isn’t up on Amazon yet — hopefully it’ll be posted soon so I can add it to my wish list.
