This elegant gown is crafted from exquisitely crinkled chiffon and features a generous amount of gathering, creating a classic column silhouette. Iconic to the film, Edith is seen wearing this sleeping robe at Allerdale Hall while she unravels the haunting secrets within. The chiffon is lightly ruched all over for a delicate, ethereal feel, and the ruffles are doubled on the collar, sleeve cuffs, and yoke. The raw edging adds to the natural and effortless look of the gown. Fully lined in butter-soft knit and full-length, with gigot sleeves that have dramatic shoulders and interior tulle for added volume. The fitted bottom has decadently thick ruching, and the cuffs are trimmed with ruffled cotton cluny lace. Finished with real freshwater pearls along the inner sleeves and front placket, and a 100% 1.5" (38 mm) rayon grosgrain matching ribbon sash. Pair it with a modern harness for an edgier modern look.
