It was made by Saks Fifth Avenue private label in the 1990s. The shape of the embellishment is super flattering and really creates the illusion of a smaller waistline. The amazing construction doesn't stop there: the side of the bodice is boned, so there's no gaping and the sides sit flush, and likewise, the back of the waistband is lightly elasticized to keep everything precisely in place. A slit on either sides create ease of movement.
