GFI System Duophony Advanced Parallel Signal Blender PedalAbout the Product
Parallel Blender: A pedal that blends the signals from 2 or more sources.
Duophony is their take on the lowly 'parallel blender' pedal. They took the basic concept of blending two effects together to the next level by integrating the classic signal blender functionalities with modern features and intuitive user interface. The result is a solid blending machine, optimized to help you unleash the unexplored ideas of parallel blending and discover new ways of sculpting limitless soundscape!
Full stereo signal paths
Duophony features full stereo signal paths throughout. TRS jacks supports both mono and stereo connections for the inputs and effect loops, while dedicated Left and Right TS jacks are provided for the outputs.
Hassle-free blending with presets
16 presets, readily accessible via the two on-board footswitches, external aux-switches, and MIDI.
Expressive Flexibility
Adjust blending ratio or the Dry signal level at will with an expression pedal!
Fully configurable Heel and Toe values for flexible expressive control. Expression pedals with 10 KOhm pot value are supported.
Modulated Blending
A unique feature that Duophony has is “Modulated Blending”, the ability to modulate the blending action with an internal LFO. When modulation is activated, an internal LFO will produce a waveform whose shape maps directly to the blend ratio. Modulation speed can be controlled via expression pedal, tap-tempo, or MIDI clock.
Comprehensive external control
• Expression Pedal - with adjustable heel and toe values.
• Aux Switches - accepts up to 3 external switches for versatile control (tap-tempo, bank up/down, etc).
• MIDI In - nearly all features and functionalities of the pedal are opened to MIDI access, including MIDI clock.
Purity and Precision
100% analog signal paths, coupled with high headroom and low-noise design preserve your signals and tone.
Precise digital control provides seamless user interface and ease of use.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.

Good for my collection.
Format: Hardcover
This was another quick and entertaining read. This instalment wasn't as enjoyable as some of the other books but it was still good. I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Wonderful classic
Format: Board book
This book challenges the assumption that more is better, bringing back memories of my own easy-going childhood. Ezra Keats is remarkable in his ability to create a story that so many people can relate too and the books illustrations also manage to pull you back into your own childhood memories and moments of wonder at snow. His artwork is spare yet the pictures burst with brilliant color and expression. In many of the pictures, Peter lacks facial features except his eyes, but Keats manages, with the angle of his head and the composition, to convey feeling.
The text, similarly economical, is made up of just enough words to tell the story -- none of them too hard for a young reader to sound out or for a young listener to understand -- and they are vivid words used powerfully, often rhyming or repeating. The result is that kids (and parents too!) can settle into Peter's snowy world. A bonus in this sparkling story is the African-American main character -- an all-too-rare occurrence, still, in children's literature. I try to expose my child to a diverse array of characters in his story books and am still left disheartened when I return from the book store because, unfortunately there really are too few choices that are quality stories that both the adult and child can enjoy reading. This is one of those books. The story is engaging and still simple enough that a child can follow along.
