• Seasoned artisans hand-apply painted and stained finishes in multiple layers with lacquer to create well-worn charm and sophistication. Including dry brushing and hand rubbing of edges, to reveal elegant undertones of stain and texture. Natural imperfections are to be expected in the wood, such as wood grains, dents, knots, and any other characteristics of natural wood formations, adding distinctive texture. Artisans work with the natural wood elements to enhance the rustic feel of these finishes by using an antiquing process of hand distressing with chains, wormholes, and other tools to mimic a natural worn piece of furniture. All painted finishes will patina over time and wood tones will vary.
