Description:

The BassRIG ’64 Black Panel is an Analogue Amp Recreation, paying tribute to the Fender® Showman® and Bassman® amps of the mid- Sixties, along with their 2x15 cabs. Before the days of the modern bass amp, these high- powered heads were relied on by everyonefrom Soul session players to Rock ‘n’ Rollroyalty. We firmly believe that these early bass tones are some of the best ever, and theBassRIG ’64 Black Panel delivers all the warmthand grit that define this boundary-pushing era.

This pedal features an entire valve amp circuit recreated in miniature, with all the controls you need to craft the perfect bass amp tone, while the BLEND knob adds clean signal to preserve clarity and low-end. The XLR-equipped DI output’s analogue cabinetsimulator provides a huge and authentic tonedirect to your mixing console and the 1⁄4” outputfeatures our proprietary Amp Out EQ. This post-drive filter ensures compatibility with any amp and cab, meaning you never have to compromise your clean tone or struggle with the house backline.

1. GET CONNECTED

INSTR - Plug in your bass or other instrument .
AMP - Connect to amp or power amp.

DI OUT - Connect to your mixer or recording interface.

9VDC - Insert 9VDC 2.1mm centre-negative power supply (minimum 150mA).

2. MATCH THE CONTROLS - Match the controls to the image here as a starting point for setting up your tone.

3. SET THE AMP OUT EQ

HORN CUT - For cabs equipped with a tweeter, set the HORN CUT switch to 2K or 4K to give a smooth overdrive tone and protect your tweeter. For cabs without tweeters, leave this switch in the off (centre) position. Use the LF and HF trimmers to fine tune the pedal’s voicing to suit your amp and cab.

LF - This control can reduce boominess in large cabs or fatten up smaller cabs.

HF - This control can add some upper-mid presence or tame the top end when using a hi-fi, modern amplifier.

4. SHAPE YOUR VOICE - The pre-drive 3-band tone stack affects the frequency response and character of the overdrive.

TREBLE - Turn clockwise for a brighter tone and more aggressive overdrive. Turn counterclockwise for a smoother sound.

MIDDLE - Turn clockwise for a warmer tone and rich overdrive. Turn counterclockwise for a scooped tone and extra clarity.

BASS - Turn clockwise for a deep low end. Turn counterclockwise for a thinner, more percussive sound. Tip: For very overdriven sounds, lower BASS settings will improve tightness and definition.

BRIGHT/FAT - BRIGHT adds extra high frequencies in the preamp at lower DRIVE settings. FAT reconfigures the circuit from Showman® to Bassman® spec. This can add warmth and depth to the sound. As the DRIVE increases, FAT mode will begin to sound out-of-control - in a good way!

BLK/TWD - The BLK setting is a Fender® “Black Panel” circuit with a controlled, scooped tone. TWDselects a “Tweed” spec for more gain and mids.

5. DIAL IN YOUR OVERDRIVE GAIN - Turn up and go from clean to cranked, much like turning up a classic non-master-volume amp.

6. BLEND IN YOUR DRIVE BLEND - Turn counterclockwise to add in some of your bass guitar’s cleansignal. This can help preserve clarity when using overdriven sounds.

DI OUT - This balanced XLR output gives you an analogue simulation of an 8x10 bass cabinet, direct to a PA or recording interface.

DI CAB SIM switch - In the FX position, the cabinet simulator is active only when the pedal is engaged. In the FX+BYP position, the cabinet simulator is always active.

DI GROUND switch - Select GND if only using the DI OUT. Select LIFT to eliminate ground loop hum when using both outputs.

              Great product
              Style: Sport, Size: Large
This is a lifesaver. My lab will chase the ball all day and this saves the arms and shoulders. A little bit of a learning curve to use but I would definitely recommend

              Labs love this!!!
              Style: Sport, Size: Large
Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand. My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!! He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again! Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

              Must-Have for Active Dogs!
              Style: Sport, Size: Large
The Chuckit Sport 26L Dog Ball Launcher has been a game-changer for my large dog! My 80-pound Labrador loves to play fetch, and this launcher makes it so much easier and more enjoyable for both of us. The 26” length gives me the leverage to throw the ball much farther than I could by hand, which really helps burn off my dog’s energy. The included large ball (3”) is the perfect size for big dogs, and I appreciate that it’s made from durable rubber, so it withstands a lot of chewing and rough play. What I really love is that the launcher is so lightweight and easy to use. I can play fetch with my dog for extended periods without my arm getting tired. The ergonomic handle also provides a comfortable grip, which is a nice touch. If you have a large, active dog, the Chuckit Sport 26L is a must-have. It’s well-made, durable, and makes fetch more fun for both you and your dog. Highly recommend!

              Style: Sport, Size: Large
I can't throw a ball to save my soul. Just got this today and lobbed a ball to the far end of my 1- acre yard. The dog loves it, and I love it!

I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy
              Style: Sport, Size: Large
Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps. Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large. This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that... Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!) To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.
