OTHER: Call it a Yarrow all you want, but you’ll never convince me that this lovely achillea looks anything like a normal yarrow. The Pearl has lovely 3/4” double blooms. They look something like daisies as they start blooming, & once they have fully developed, look like carnations. They have a long bloom time, & make an excellent cut or dried flower. The plants have a neat mounding habit, with lance shaped glossy leaves. They tolerate the heat & humidity of summer well, can tolerate drought, & does not mind sandy soil, heavy clay soil, or coastal conditions, & are deer resistant. Grow Pearl Yarrow in rock gardens, containers, or anywhere that has well drained soil.
