Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' is an impressive succulent prized for its large, jelly bean-like foliage and striking appearance. Originating from Mexico, this hardy plant is renowned for its resilience and adaptability to various growing conditions. With its bold foliage and versatile uses, Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' adds a touch of drama and elegance to any garden or landscape setting.

Growth Habit:

  • Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' features a low-growing and sprawling growth habit, with stems that spread outwards and trail gracefully over rocks, walls, and containers.
  • The foliage is comprised of large, succulent leaves arranged in rosettes, resembling giant jelly beans in shades of green and red.
  • This spreading habit makes Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' an excellent choice for ground cover, rock gardens, and hanging baskets.

Flowers:

  • While primarily grown for its bold foliage, Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' may produce clusters of small, star-shaped flowers in late spring to early summer.
  • The blooms are typically yellow or white and add a subtle yet charming accent to the garden.
  • While not as showy as its foliage, these delicate flowers may attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, contributing to the biodiversity of the landscape.

Uses:

  • Ground Cover: Plant Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' as a low-growing ground cover in garden beds and borders, where it fills in spaces between plants and suppresses weeds.
  • Rock Gardens: Incorporate Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' into rockeries and dry-stone walls, where its sprawling habit and bold foliage create a striking contrast against the rugged terrain.
  • Container Gardening: Showcase Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' in containers and hanging baskets, where its trailing stems and large leaves add drama to patios, balconies, and decks.
  • Erosion Control: Use Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' on slopes and banks to help stabilize the soil and prevent erosion, thanks to its dense growth habit and shallow root system.
  • Mixed Plantings: Pair Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' with other low-maintenance perennials and succulents in mixed plantings, creating dynamic and textural compositions in the garden.

Advantages:

  • Drought Tolerance: Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' is highly drought-tolerant once established, making it an ideal choice for water-wise gardening and regions with limited rainfall.
  • Low Maintenance: With minimal water and maintenance requirements, Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' is an easy-care plant suitable for busy gardeners and low-maintenance landscapes.
  • Year-Round Interest: From its bold foliage to its delicate flowers, Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' provides year-round visual interest in the garden.
  • Versatility: Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' can thrive in a variety of growing conditions, including full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil, making it suitable for a wide range of garden settings and climates.
  • Wildlife Habitat: While primarily grown for its ornamental value, Sedum lucidum 'Giant Jelly Bean' may attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies when in bloom, contributing to the biodiversity of the garden.

PRICE DOUBLED IN 2 WEEKS
Size: 18 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 18 Count (Pack of 1)
I rescue standard poodles mostly. I also train service dogs. My pack of "poodles" has all sizes and ages. This is not for profit , it is to save lives. Until 2 weeks ago -date now is: 08/17/2022- the price of these were around 20.00. My dogs all loved them. I have a buffet table with lots of storage I use to store the treats and it has room on top for all the treat jars. In the afternoon or evening, they'd get a hard, chewy treat like ears. Standard poodles love to chew . They could finish off one of the ears in minutes. These treats are quiet large and thin. They do smell but they are natural foods. NO WAY can I afford over 40.00 for 18 ears. Did pigs go exttict? Did they quit growing ears? How could They raise the price to cost double the amount? I looked at other ears on Amazon & the other brand i get which starts with a p- has not gone up. Paws- clipping. They have some Bizarre names so guess I'll just double my order for them. I have way too many dogs to give treats to. I want to be fair to all of them. They are my kids & will get the best I can offer. I did wait a few weeks before writting this. I also dropped my Sub & Save with this.

Bouncy, not hard, and good value.
Style: Fetch Balls (Pack of 10), Size: 2.5 inch
Great balls for the ball launcher and not rockhard like some of the solid rubber balls. These have great bounce, and because of the two holes, they make a fun whistling noise as they fly through the air. My dogs love them and they are a good value. By the way, if you throw them too hard, they will go through chain-link and no climb fence because they squish a bit!
