One central pocket measures 3.75" x 3.75" wide x 1.5" deep allows seedlings' roots to spread out to encourage strong growth. To transplant, prick out individual seedlings or lift them all together and tease apart (as shown below). Exterior dimensions are 5" x 5" x 3". You can see the larger version here.
