The revolutionary TQ HPR40 drive unit is among the most compact and lightweight motor systems available, delivering an exceptionally natural pedaling experience. Minimal drag and seamless assistance engagement create a nearly imperceptible transition between rider input and motor support, making assistance feel smooth and intuitive at all times.
Three assistance modes allow riders to tailor support levels based on ride intensity or daily fitness, while the system’s significant weight reduction compared to previous generations enhances the bike’s responsive road feel.
The integrated 290Wh battery offers ample capacity for long road rides while preserving the Fastlane’s clean aesthetic. Improved efficiency from the TQ system delivers greater range per watt-hour, and the compact charger fully recharges the battery in approximately three hours. Riders can also add an optional 160Wh range extender, designed to resemble a standard water bottle and installed tool-free using SCOTT’s quick-release system.
The lightweight HMX carbon frame features endurance-focused geometry and clearance for tires up to 38mm, delivering comfort on long climbs and confidence on rougher descents. Full integration powers the rear lighting system, Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain, and drive unit from the main battery, eliminating the need for multiple charging systems and simplifying cable management.
Discreet controls include a drop-end power switch and hood-mounted mode buttons for easy operation while riding, while ANT+ connectivity allows riders to monitor ride data directly through compatible bike computers.
