The electromagnetic field of a card reader generates electricity in RFID/NFC cards through induction. This energy enables the cards to send their data to the reader and exchange information.
These RFID blocking sleeves shield radio waves. The card inserted in the blocking sleeve does not receive any power and cannot send any data.
